Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at customerservice@rockfordhatsandboutique.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address:

If your return is accepted, we will provide you with instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. Return shipping labels and exchanges will be at the customer’s expense. 

 

If your return or exchange is accepted, you have 3 days from the time it is approved to ship it back and provide us with a tracking number.  After the 3 days, if your item is not shipped back, you will forfeit the exchange or refund.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like hats, baseball caps, hair accessories, jewelry, travel bags, makeup/jewelry cases, backpacks, diaper bags, shoes, slippers, or winter accessories. Please contact us if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on any discounted order, sale items, or gift cards.  That also means no refunds or exchanges for these items either. 

 

Disclaimer: All Art by Amy pieces are upcycled and made into new pieces of art, making each piece 100% one-of-a-kind.  You may notice small chips in paint or pieces that add to their uniqueness - we do not consider these imperfections to be flaws nor do we consider them "broken."  We inspect all Art by Amy pieces before they are shipped to ensure they are not truly broken (i.e. necklace won't hook, sharp pieces, etc.), and we wrap them for shipping in tons of bubble wrap to help ensure they make it to you in great shape.  Art by Amy pieces are FINAL SALE.  


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be sent Rockford Hats and Boutique store credit for the amount of your approved return purchase within 10 business days.  The cost of shipping will NOT be reimbursed.
